Downloadable Job Skills

Just plug a cable, running from from your iPhone, into that port you had implanted behind your right ear last week. It shouldn't take more than five to ten minutes for the file to download, depending on whether or not you're using AT&T. Whole libraries of textbook information stream directly into your frontal cortex alongside the recorded memories, instincts and conditioned muscle memories of several men and women who spent years flying. Once the download is complete you experience a "eureka" type moment. All these new ideas and facts are buzzing around in your head. Also, you're now 100% qualified to operate an AC-130 gunship. Congratulations. Your phone is even kind enough to print off your new pilot's license and all relevent paper work you're going to need for your job interview in a few minutes.

As you step off the subway you notice three men walking toward you. One has a knife. Muggers. Too bad you didn't download that Advanced Kung Fu app before you left the house.
