CritTech question - 10311452 - Suggested change for critique

Postby CrittersMinion » Wed Oct 31, 2018 8:52 pm

Web form question for CritTechers:

Name: Steve Donnelly

Subject: Suggested change for critique submission process

Workshop: critters

================

Hello.

This is a suggestion rather than a question.

Someone e-mailed me a critique for a different
story. This isn't a major problem as I e-mailed
them back and resolved the problem.

But I thought I'd make a suggestion as to how to
prevent this from happening just in case it is
one of those 'easy-to-do' changes.

The process that submits the critique has the
title of the story in the critique. And I'm
assuming the process could also access the title
of the story listed. So if the process could
compare the two titles and flag the critique if
the critique's title doesn't match the story's
title, this would probably prevent people from
submitting critiques to the wrong story.

Thanks.
